How Can blood In Stool Be Treated?

Hello I find that after a night of heavy drinking I see blood in my stool the next day. It has happened four times and, when I does it usually happens once just the first poop in the morning. I went to the emergency room and he took a stool sample it didn t test positive for blood. I have stopped drinking and now i m scared it may be something more server. I m 29 years old female and i ve been drinking whiskey heavily it only happens after drinking

Hi,

Occasional bright fresh blood in stool may be indicating hemorrhoids. Other local causes like polyp may also cause it. We generally recommend rectal examination to see for local cause as mentioned above. So it is better to go to your doctor for local examination.
